After some 6 odd years this is my first rock production..man producing rock track is a royal pain. I wanted to add a track of this kind for my next album.
Guessing some of you guys are into rock so do give me your feedback..
Name : Blind Drive
Genre : Rock/alternate
initial peer review feedbacks from pros and semi-pros are here-
” This is NOT rock in anyway, but the sound and bass totally rock”
“Stick to what you do best..dont ever touch rock”
” I played it in my Harmon Kardon speakers and the sub woofers had a blast
” i hated it first..now i cant stand it”
” i have heard it somewhere..”
” Man your equaliser skills is outta di worlda..totally pro”
” i am using this track for my band and you go into my playlist”
” I DJed this track at a Malaysia base club..pretty good surround….but the interruptions are too often bro”
” the guitar riff is a rip off of knight rider, but the tracks kinda peppy”
” super programming for an home producer you are awesome….”
“crap”
“the native guitars from 2:26…woooooo man…awesome..”
“the real deal starts from 1:41 good show!
” naa man you have created some awesome ones before, this is not you”
“wish it was longer like 7mins or somethin..”
“its more fusion of stable acoustic drums and electronica i think”
“Fantastic envoloping and reverb effects and good use of HiHats”
“Hmm neat i am sure i will play it again”
” you are a better technician than a producer, you should be with electronica not acoustic genre but this is a great attempt by you.The arrangement is classy and pro but its like eating frozen food, dont produce drums in synth it should be played live by a drummer, synth drums shows as plastic! but its not totally in your case because i have heard your music and the arrangement and mixing is amazing as always.Need to take few lessons on mixing, i never seem to get it right!
” what happened to you this time man?”
“Wow!! is this inspiring or what?”
Now its your turn folks!
